Japanese curry is easy to make and delicious! You could make it when you are busy and put it in the freezer to eat later. It is our go-to meal when we have to make food for a lot of people. Everyone always enjoys a nice hot bowl of curry.
Ingredients
- Garlic / Ginger(optional)
- Bay Leaf (optional)
- Carrots
- Onions
- Potatoes
- Meat of your choice
- Curry Packet
- Habanero Powder (Optional if you want it spicy)
- Rice
Put oil of your choice (we used olive oil) in a pot with garlic and cook until it is slightly brown.

Cook onions in a pot with garlic until it is soft and golden brown.

Put meat and potatoes. Cook until meat is fully cooked.

Add water per the instructions of your curry packet. Each one has different instructions so be careful.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes with a lid.

Turn the stove off and put curry powder or blocks in and stir.

Turn the stove back on and cook until curry is thick.

Ready to serve! You can put it in one of our rice molds to give it something extra!
