Izo, one of Whitebeard’s commanders and a former performer at the Kabuki-za theater before joining the crew, gets figure #15 in the WT100 lineup, and the pose captures exactly the kind of poised, theatrical precision that made him such a distinct character design in the first place.

Hand resting near his sheathed blade, pink kimono-style outfit draped over one shoulder, hair pulled up into that tight traditional topknot. Every part of this figure reads as deliberate rather than aggressive, which fits Izo’s background as someone who trained in stage performance long before he trained with a sword. The soft pink and black color scheme stands out immediately against the more typical earth-tone palettes most male One Piece characters get, and it’s a nice visual break within the WT100 series.

This is where the WT100 concept keeps paying off. Because these poses came straight from Eiichiro Oda’s own illustration work for his 100th volume anniversary, characters like Izo who don’t usually headline figure releases get a genuine spotlight moment. He’s not posed mid-battle or shouting an attack name, he’s simply present, composed, and instantly recognizable.

Six figures make up this wave, and Izo is arguably one of the more overlooked picks for collectors who don’t already follow the Whitebeard Pirates closely. If you’re filling out a commander lineup or just appreciate a design that stands apart from the crowd, figure #15 is worth grabbing.
